Celebrating National Library Week

National Library Week

It’s National Library Week. This years theme is Join the Circle of Knowledge and if you haven’t yet be sure to check out the Circle of Knowledge Blog.

We have a plethora of events and activities going on at PLCMC this week including an Open House at Main Library and a National Library RED READ Party on Friday night. Apparently some honeybees in the area decided to get the party started early and they swarmed and took up residence in a tree in front of Main Library.

This brings a whole new meaning to BookHive. BookHive

So happy National Library Week and National Library Workers Day to all my library friends in the biblioblogosphere!

  1. This is quite a sight! Bookhive indeed! Bees are a symbol of industrious, so it is very fitting that they should congregate outside the library.
